Camelford Old Bank and Community Larder, based in the former Natwest bank in the town, which closed in 2017.
The charity has announced that from Wednesday, April 8, the National Careers Service will be returning to the centre to help local residents with issues relating to employment, training, CV writing, interview skills and other related tasks.
It added that it would also be making its computer suite available for people who need to access it.
A spokesperson for the Camelford Old Bank and Community Larder said: “We are pleased to announce that on Wednesday, April 8, the National Careers Service will be back with us.
“Maggie can help with anything related to employment, training, CV, interview skills and a whole list of other things. We have appointments available from 9.30am until 12.30.
“We are aware of several businesses closing recently so please come and see Maggie for help and advice, she is absolutely fantastic. On the same day from 10.30am until 12pm, we will be opening our computer suite for anyone needing to access a computer for job or training related tasks.
“We have three computers available with monitors and a printer. Our digital champion will also be available to help anyone with basic digital skills, that may be setting up an email or accessing online services.
“This is available for anyone in the local area. We will also have a supply of laptops that can be loaned out and our digital champion will be taking applications for these.”
