IN early hours of March 30 police were contacted by a member of the public to report a bin liner and rubbish bin on fire in Broad Street, Launceston.
A Launceston Neighbourhood Police Team spokesperson said: “One person has been arrested for arson, interviewed and released under investigation. A second suspect has now been identified and awaiting interview.
“Launceston Police would like to thank the member of public for their actions and the fire brigade for their attendance.”
They added: “On this occasion this fire was contained to a small area.”
