PUPILS at Marhamchurch C of E Academy have been taking part in a range of outdoor learning activities to grow their relationship with the outdoors.

Reception pupils took their writing activities outside, explored the life cycle of a frog through water play, and learned through practical, play-based activities designed to support their understanding of the natural world.

In Kingfisher Class, pupils worked together to build a bug hotel as part of their science learning, creating habitats for insects and other small creatures.

Headteacher, Deirdre Petersen said: “At Marhamchurch, outdoor learning is part of everyday life, not just a special day. It is always such a joy to see the children so engaged, curious and enthusiastic as they explore science and nature in hands-on ways.”
