HIGHAMPTON Primary School has been judged to be an 'outstanding' school following its Ofsted inspection earlier this term.

The small school was assessed as being 'outstanding' in all four areas of inspection: achievement of pupils, quality of teaching, behaviour and safety of pupils and leadership and management.

Mr John Cavill, lead inspector, said: "The pupils' outstanding achievement starts from the moment they enter the school where they are inspired and encouraged to excel in everything they do."
