FIRE crews at Holsworthy Fire Station have reacted with sadness after two firefighters and a member of the public died at a blaze in Oxfordshire.
It comes after a large blaze described as an ‘inferno’ took place at a former RAF base, now the home to Bicester Motion.
While tackling the fire, two firefighters died along with a member of the public while a further two fire fighters were seriously injured.
A spokesperson for Holsworthy Fire Station said: “All of our thoughts at Holsworthy Fire Station are with the families & the colleagues of the two firefighters, one member of the public who have sadly lost their lives & the two firefighters who are seriously injured following a significant fire in Oxfordshire on May 15.”
