In this week’s 12-page sports pullout there’s plenty going on including the Cornwall Cricket League which now enters the final third of the season.

Inside are reports on Callington and Werrington’s latest outings in the ECB Cornwall Premier League plus games involving Bude, Holsworthy and Launceston in Division Two East.

There’s a round-up covering from the Premier division right down to Division Six East as Callington seconds, Callington thirds, Luckett and Holsworthy seconds look set to win their respective divisions.

On the football pitch, Camelford eased to a 4-1 win at Torpoint in a pre-season encounter, while Holsworthy put in a spirited performance in going down 1-0 to Western League side Saltash United.

Elsewhere there’s the latest bowls and sailing action plus news of Launceston Tennis Club’s latest fun competition, which was won by Hayley Frayn.
