LOUIS Dennis says he is ready to make an immediate impact at Truro City after completing a permanent move to the Tinners until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The experienced forward, 34, is determined to add to what he believes is already a strong squad as Truro look to make their mark in the Enterprise National League South.

“I’m hoping to add to what’s already here as the manager has put a brilliant squad together,” said Dennis. “I’ve heard loads of great things from people who have been at Truro before and it looks like a fantastic club that does everything properly.

“Although I haven’t had much time away from football, it feels like a fresh start at a fresh club and I can’t wait to get going.”

Dennis joined the Tinners as a free agent last month after leaving Torquay United, having moved to Plainmoor ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

He began his career in the academy systems at Watford and Dagenham and Redbridge before joining Bromley in 2014.

After four years at Hayes Lane, he had spells with Portsmouth and Leyton Orient before returning to Bromley in 2021.

He spent another four years with the Ravens, helping them secure promotion to the English Football League and win the FA Trophy in the final against Wrexham.

Dennis is now looking forward to getting back into training and building relationships with his new team-mates.

“I want to win, will be competitive and I will always give 100 per cent on the pitch,” he added.
