Windmill Hill Academy in Launceston have done their bit to raise money for charity by hosting their own coffee morning. 

Parents, students and staff all came together to enjoy a cuppa, a good chat and a bit of cake, all in the name of raising money for Macmillan. 

Mrs Abby Bassett, head of school said: “A huge thank you to everyone who supported our MacMillan Coffee Morning today. We are pleased to let you know that we raised an amazing £285.20!

“It was wonderful to see so many from our school community enjoy the morning and support the worthy cause.

“Also, a huge thank you to our Friends, volunteers and staff for all of their hard work in running and carrying out the event.”
