A VOTE in order to choose two new representatives to join Holsworthy Town Council will be held after more candidates put themselves forward than there were vacancies.
Torridge District Council, which will handle the election, has confirmed the identities of the trio putting themselves forward.
Bianca Kathleen Pascall has put herself forward to be the Green party candidate, having been proposed by Thomas D Kemp and seconded by Daniel Z Baseley.
Noreen Margaret Rank, who is not representing a political party was proposed by Jonathan Hutchings and seconded by Sophie E Daniel.
The third candidate is Lynne Phyllis Rowsell, representing Reform UK, who was proposed by Maria J Rowsell and seconded by David A Rowsell.
Mrs Rowsell presently also serves as the Devon County Council member for Holsworthy Rural.
