ORGANISERS for the upcoming St Peter’s Fair Week have announced the bands and musical acts that will form the upcoming lineup.
The St Peter’s Fair Entertainments Committee has confirmed the acts
On Sunday, July 6, there will be a concert in the square by Holsworthy Town Band to kickstart the fair week.
This will be followed on Wednesday, July 9, the fair day itself with an evening performance by Bicycle Repair Men, promising a ‘quirky style of covers’ ranging from from Metallica to Mumford and Steve Earle to the Stereophonics
After the Furry Dance on the Friday, Holsworthy Square will once again be alive to a riot of sound and fun with Black Friday, promising a ‘stormy crossing of Celtic sea punk’ and followed by Lionstar, an act providing a fusion of reggae, rock and world fusion.
The latter have recently been supporting UB40, Aswad, Soul II Soul, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and Bad Manners among other acts.
