WITH the summer holidays finally upon us, excitement is building ahead of the annual Marhamchurch Revel.

Each year, residents come out in force for a fun filled event featuring competitions, including the much anticipated pram race and fancy dress competitions.

However, one of the highlights of the event is the crowning of the revel royalty.

Every year a student from Marhamchurch C of E Academy is named as the Revel Queen, and this year is no exception.

For 2025’s event, local student Alma Veale will take up her position as one of the event’s royal appointments.

This year’s Revel is set to take place on Monday, August 18, and is hoping to bring fun and games to the summer season.
