FOOTBALL fans in Bude are in for a treat this weekend as the Premier League trophy is set to be displayed at a local pub.

On Saturday, November 1, The Carriers Inn in Bude is set to be host to the peak of English footballing silverware - for one day only.

As part of Sky Sports’ nationwide initiative celebrating the pubs that bring fans closer to the game, the trophy will be on display at The Carriers Inn for a single day, giving visitors the chance to see one of the most iconic prizes in football up close.

Guests can take photos with the famous silverware and enjoy the full matchday atmosphere, with live Sky Sports coverage on the big screens and great food and drinks.

Jamie Murphy, publican at The Carriers Inn, said: “We’re excited to welcome the Premier League Trophy to The Carriers Inn courtesy of Sky Sports. Our regulars are massive football fans, so having the trophy here in Bude is really special. It’s going to be a fantastic day for the community.”

The Premier League Trophy will be at the pub for one day only from 11am, and visitors are encouraged to arrive early to make sure they don’t miss out on this rare opportunity.
