A PLANNING application has been advertised in a public notice due to the impact it could have on the area.

Article 15 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order of 2015 requires the advertisement of certain planning applications where, if in the opinion of the local planning authority, has the potential to affect the character or a setting of a listed building or the character or appearance of a conservation area.

In this instance, Bude Rugby Ground, located on Petherwicks Mill Road in Bude is seeking planning approval to undertake improvements to its ground.

It proposes to demolish part of an existing concrete patio terrace and construct a single storey clubhouse extension in addition to new rooflights and PV panels to the existing clubhouse roof.
