THERE are set to be two new faces joining Holsworthy Town Council after the results of an election was announced.

Noreen Margaret Rank and Bianca Kathleen Pascall are the town’s newest councillors having won the battle for the two seats that were vacant.

They were joined on the ballot paper by the Devon County Councillor for the town, Lynne Phyllis Rowsell, representing Reform UK.

Only 15 per cent of the eligible electorate took part in the vote.

Noreen Rank topped the ballot with a total of 288 votes, while Bianca Pascall, standing for election under the banner of the Green Party came second with a total of 249 votes.

Lynne Rowsell came third with a total of 90 votes cast in her favour.
