ONE of Cornwall’s most spiritual and beautiful hidden gems is set to host a series of candlelit suppers this autumn — offering guests an unforgettable evening in a setting unlike anywhere else in Cornwall.
Known for its incredible waterfall, serene ancient woodland walks and rich history, St Nectan's Glen near Tintagel will open its doors after dark for an intimate dining experience by candlelight.
Guests will enjoy a carefully curated three-course supper in the heart of this magical location, surrounded by the warm glow of flickering candles and the natural beauty of the valley.
Natasha Lewis, management support at St Nectan's Glen, said: “We're so excited to be bringing something truly different to Cornwall's events calendar. St Nectan's Glen is already known as a place of wonder and magic, but to experience it at night, lit by hundreds of candles, is absolutely amazing. We can't wait to welcome people in and share this unique experience with them.”
The first supper is themed ‘Night of Pie’ and was scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 8, at 7pm, with further dates this autumn to be announced.
Places are strictly limited for these events to keep it “intimate and special”. Guests can expect a warm welcome, hearty seasonal food and the chance to soak up the rare atmosphere of one of Cornwall's most sacred natural spaces after dark.
Natasha added: “We wanted to create an event that feels both cosy and magical. Whether visitors come as couples, with friends or to treat themselves, this is a chance to step away from the everyday and enjoy a night of great food in a truly extraordinary setting!”
Advanced booking essential for the three-course suppers. To reserve a place, call 01840 779538 or visit www.st-nectansglen.co.uk
