THE future is looking bright for a Holsworthy youngster after receiving five offers to attend university.

Tyler Ivey, a former pupil at Holsworthy Community College has been studying for his A Levels in Business, Economics, English Language and Literature in addition to completing his core maths at Callywith College. His first choice is a digital marketing course at University of Portsmouth.

Mr Ivey: “I am very keen to go to university and I am excited mostly to study my chosen course. My business and economics lecturers have influenced my decision greatly as I am fascinated by the courses they teach. They have also given me a lot of help along the way.

“In the future, I am hoping to get a role with a big firm using the degree I could achieve at university, alongside travelling in my gap year and after university.”
