COVID-19: The Queen tests positive for covid

Buckingham Palace confirmed on Sunday, February 20 that the Queen had tested positive for Covid-19.

The Queen, 95, has been said to be experiencing mild cold-like symptoms and expects to continue light duties at Windsor this week, Which includes reading state papers, the palace says.

In recent weeks, Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall both tested positive.

Today (February 21) there are 70 positive cases of COVID in Launceston.

In Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly today, there have been 250 cases of COVID reported and 0 deaths (within 28 days of a positive test).

In the UK today, there has been 25,696 cases reported and 74 deaths (within 28 days of a positive test).
