Charolias bulls hit an impressive £890 for a superb bull sold by FW Dymond & Sons, Shebbear more from the same holding away well at £810, £800 and £780- a credit to them.

Younger Charolias bulls to £512, £510, £498 and £465 for LJ Goaman & Sons, Hartland.

First time seller Jack Quinlan, Shebbear presented a very smart Simmental bull which achieved £870- well done Jack.

Blue Bulls flew up to £800 for an eye-catching sort in from Steve Furse, Ashwater, more to £560 for CL Stevens, Woolsery, £555 for Westcott Farm Partnership, £550 for Higher Trethern LTD, £538 for Dave Furse, Ashwater, £535 for Andrew Kempthorne, £522 SG & MR Ley and £518 George Buse, Wadebridge.

Angus bulls saw an unreal trade and averaged just shy of £400 to a top of £600 for a solid sort in from AJ & PE Nancekivell, more to £530 Steve Furse, and £502 for a red angus in from AJ & JA Heard, Hartland.

Limousin bulls a strong trade and reached £610 for FW Dymond, more to £500 AJ & PE Nancekivell followed by Hereford bulls which left the ring at £480 for Andrew Kempthorne, more to £460 CL Stevens, Woolsery and £415 for Lucy Vanstone, Chilsworthy.

Heifers topped out at a sensational £840 for a smart Simmental sold by Jack Quinlan, Shebbear followed by £810 for a beautiful Charolias sold by FW Dymond, who had more to £800 x2 and younger sorts to £530 for LJ Goaman.

All Blue heifers were well contested for and realised £540 for Steve Furse, £500 CL Stevens and £492 for Higher Trethern LTD.

Angus heifers to £425 for AJ & PE Nancekivell, more to £408 for PF Cleave, Morwenstow.

Dairy Sired Bulls - No processing men today buying, all Friesian bulls sold well considering.

Top was £450 for a reared sort in from PD & SK Blake, Torpoint more to £220 for Dave Furse again.
