Tintagel dazzles with colour in sun drenched carnival

SMILES were aplenty at Tintagel Carnival as the community came together to celebrate the day in style.

A vast array of bright and distinctive displays were on show at the event, as all those who took part turned their creativity and costume skills up to 11 in a bid to catch the eye.

In this, they succeeded with a well-executed community event that both delighted those spectating and brought a sense of jollification to one of the centrepoints in the tight-knit Tintagel town life.

Joining the Tintagel community at the event was carnival royalty from elsewhere, with the well presented Delabole carnival royalty among those sighted in taking part.

All in all, the day shone as brightly as the sun emanating from the skies above.
