A LONG serving member of Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service’s team of firefighters has been celebrated for his two decades of service.

Shaun Edwards has marked 20 years of service to the Delabole community fire station, playing an integral part in their efforts to serve both the village and surrounding areas.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: “Huge congratulations to FF Shaun Edwards who has this week completed 20 years of service to Delabole community fire station, and the communities of our local area.

“Shaun is a huge asset to Delabole bringing knowledge and experience of many areas, the commitment of being an On Call Firefighter has its challenges and to make this milestone is a huge achievement.”
