AFTER a slight interruption and two year hiatus – the historic Camelford Agricultural Show is back to full pomp with high hopes that the 117th edition will be the best yet.

A show spokesperson said: “Join us on Wednesday, August 13. After a successful couple of years fundraising we are pleased to inform you that we are in full planning mode for our 2025 show.”

Since 1906, the show has been at the centre of local farming life, and is presently held on land at Trevilla Farm near to the town which bears the show’s name.

Its return comes on the back of a challenging few years and sees the much-loved Camelford Agricultural Show is set to make a special return in 2025. The 2023 event was cancelled due to severe weather, and financial pressures led to the postponement of the 2024 show. Nevertheless, the spirit of the community shone through as the Handicraft and Horticulture competitions continued at Otterham Village Hall last year.

Determined to bring the show back bigger and better, organisers have spent the past two years fundraising and preparing — ensuring that Camelford Agricultural Show 2025 will be well worth the wait.

This year’s show promises a vibrant mix of traditional favourites and exciting attractions. Livestock classes will feature prize-winning animals — from horses, cattle, and sheep to dogs and poultry — competing across a range of categories. The much-anticipated horticultural and vintage sections will also return, showcasing everything from homegrown vegetables to stunning floral displays.
