Launceston Young Farmers’ Club got stuck in once again with their annual ‘Dung Run’ for charity.

The team managed to bag 680 bags of dung on Thursday, March 10, with the help of members and a generous donation of dung from fellow member Sam Thomas.

The team promoted the event through social media, local papers and handing out flyers in the town and surrounding villages in the hope of getting as many people involved to raise money for charity.

This year the team opted to use trucks and trailers over the normal use of tractors due to efficiency reasons.

All of the profits are currently being counted, and will soon be donated to Ms Society and Cancer research.
