POLICE have called for public support after a 54-year-old man has been reported missing.

Devon and Cornwall Police has shared an appeal by Trowbridge Police in an effort to locate a man who has been reported missing in Westbury.

Simon, is described as around 5ft 8in tall, has black/grey hair, blue eyes and a scar on his eyebrow. He was last seen wearing jeans and a black hoody.

A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said: “It is believed Simon may have travelled to the Bude, Bideford and Barnstaple areas. Please contact our Wiltshire colleagues on 999 if you have seen him.:

The Wiltshire force have described the appeal as ‘urgent’ as Simon has not been seen since 10pm on Wednesday, August 19, saying that ‘his family are extremely concerned for his wellbeing.’

He is thought to be travelling in a light blue/silver Mazda Model 6.
