POLICE were in attendance after two dead fox cubs were found hanging from a road sign.

On the morning of April 29, Devon and Cornwall Police were notified after drivers along the A30 reported that two dead fox cubs had been hung from a nearby road sign.

A spokesperson from the force said: “We were notified at around 7.10am on Tuesday April 29 following a report of two dead fox cubs hanging from the road sign near to the Jamaica Inn on the A30.”

Following reports, police attended the scene to assist in the removal of the deceased animals.

The spokesperson continued: “An officer attended the scene. The foxes have since been removed.”
