POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash near Launceston.
Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an investigation into a serious road traffic collision on the A388 near Launceston at the weekend.
Officers were called at around 2.40pm on Saturday, May 30, to a report of a three-vehicle collision on the A388 near Dutson, Launceston.
The incident involved two Yamaha motorbikes, one grey and the other black, and a red Ford Fiesta.
South West Ambulance Service, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service and Devon and Cornwall Police attended the incident.
Police have stated that as a result of the crash, one rider, a 33-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank members of the public for their patience while the A388 between Dutson and St-Giles-on-the-Heath was closed and police examined the scene.
